The UVa Board oversees all aspects pertaining to the UVa Club of Delaware.

The Schools Committee reaches out to high school students and guidance counselors through college fairs and information sessions, and organizes a phone-a-thon to welcome newly accepted students.

The Service Committee plans service projects for alumni to participate, in addition to coordinating Cavaliers Care Week for the DE area. Cavaliers Care is a Young Alumni Council initiative to have all UVa alumni around the globe participate in service projects to commemorate Thomas Jefferson's birthday.

The Events Committee plans a variety of activities including happy hours, hiking trips, Point-to-Point, theater events, wine tastings, and much more. Xannie Vest is the Events Committee Chair and works with the Young Alumni Representative. In addition, the committee organizes game-watching events for UVa Football and Basketball.

The Technology Committee maintains the DC Hoos Web site and is responsible for the technological aspects of the club. Our Webmaster is Stephen Siano (Cornell '82) and can be reached at siano@4x3.net or 610.527.1664.

The Networking/Careers Committee hosts career and networking events including information sessions, panel discussions and career fairs.
